My way, or the Malay?

Photo: Wikimedia Commons

This morning, Brian got a RFP* (see ridiculous business lingo) from the Singapore Health Promotion Board National Health Portal, (SHPNHP?).

This means it is highly possible that Brian’s second trip outside of North America will be to that Malay Peninsula equatorial city-state. That could be as soon as he gets back from another trip to California, next week, (this time to a conference in Palm Springs.)

All I know about Singapore is what I read on Wikipedia.
I can only think of one person, Miss Sybil (?), who may possible have travelled to Singapore and could offer him some tips.

Anyone else
?

I don't know about Singapore but make sure to post some pics of the fabulous architecture in Palm Springs please. Don't you miss him when he is gone all the time?

Maybe B will take photos on his iPhone.
Miss him? more than he'll ever know.

Its been at least 15 years since I've been to Singapore, but even then just about everyone spoke some English... You can even shop at Toys R Us. If your thinking it might be anything other than one VERY LARGE shopping island, think again. It didn't have much of its own culture, but it has great weather, beautiful MUST see gardens, and and a variety of great places to eat. It was at the time considered the cleanest city-state in the world. Literally, there is a garbage container every few feet. Do not litter, its a very large fine, and they sport the death penalty for drugs, so be good :)ha-ha As a vacation destination, I say VANILLA.

Ha! Thanks Jenna. From what I've read they still not only don't tolerate drugs, but spitting and littering are subject to fines and caning. I'll look forward to the gardens should this trip happen.
